Galatians
4:4-7
4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His
Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that
we might receive the adoption as sons. 6 Because
you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying,
“Abba! Father!” 7 Therefore
you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
Everything just came together perfectly. That could be said of a football game. The
penalty that cost the other team that precious 15 yards was just perfect. The
catch in the end zone in the last 15 seconds of the first half was likewise
just perfect. What timing!! But the fumble, recovery and 80 yard run clinched
the game. Your team won because everything came at just the right time. Ever
think of the things in your life that timing was everything. If it had not been
just the right time you would have missed meeting your wife or husband. Timing
saved your life as the car sped across just seconds before you instead of
directly into your path.
The
greatest timing that ever existed is found in this short Galatian passage. “In
the fullness of time.” Not a coincidence, but at just the perfect time God sent
His Son Jesus into the world. God became flesh and dwelt among us.
He was born to a human being, woman, under the Law in order that He might save you who were condemned by the Law. That perfect timing allowed you to receive your adoption into God’s family. The birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus made a way possible for you to become children of God.

You no
longer just call Him God; You call Him “Abba, Father.” Although you were slaves
to sin and the Law you are now free to a new relationship with God. He is your
Father; your Abba. The amazing part is that it happened at the perfect time.
The time was God’s choosing. It was the fullness of time. You became an heir of
all God has for you. You received an inheritance from God through God.
Rejoice
in God’s timing, God’s plan, God’s provision of His Son, and God’s relationship
with you as His child. Live in the freedom you have from the condemnation of
the Law and the new found inheritance you have in Jesus.

Greetings from Starbucks in beautiful Tempe, AZ
It must be Fall! Sandy and I attended a high school football game on Friday night.
The Marcos de Niza Padres took on the Sal Pointe High School team from Tucson. Collin played with the Marcos marching band. Pretty cool to see him on the field at halftime. The first quarter of school is coming to an end. It certainly went by quickly.
Sunday October 5th I will be preaching in the LOFT at First Baptist Church. I am so eager to be back at preaching. It has been since June 15th that I was able to preach on Sunday. Hope you can join me at 9:30AM for that time of worship and Bible teaching.

Quite often the mission services and projects do not receive any renumeration. For that reason Purpose Ministries INC and the needs we have to carry out those ministries is dependent on donors like you. If you believe God would have you support Purpose Ministries with a one time gift or a monthly gift please send the funds to Purpose Ministries INC; 2078 E Donner Dr. Tempe, AZ 85282.
Since my health is allowing me to be back preaching, teaching and ministering to people I would appreciate your financial support. I know we have constantly received your prayer support and urge you to continue praying for not only my health but also open doors for further ministry. If your church, small group or ministry could use some encouragement from me or Sandy or both of us please contact us at the same address or email me. Thanks for your consideration and especially your prayers.
Sandy continues to teach her Young Mom's Class on Tuesday morning. What a joy for her to watch the growth of the wonderful young ladies.
Our family is doing well and for that we thank God. Our grandsons are such a blessing. Although we spend a lot of time at band concerts, musical programs and soccer games it is worth it all. The two little boys spend one day a week at our home. Or should I say Grammies's home, after all I am homeless, at least according to Johnny who says I don't have a house.
May God bless you, your family, your ministry and your personal life. Don't ever forget that GOD IS GOOD!!
I love being your encourager. ~ DGW
